The Healthy Heart program looks at what you can do each day to promote your heart health.
The program recommends:
• Reducing cholesterol and reducing your intake of fatty foods
• Increasing your fibre intake by eating plenty of fruit and vegetables
• Drinking 8 glasses of water per day
• Taking regular exercise and living an active life
• Eating good fats such as fish oils or using supplements such as Herbalifeline
• Limiting your salt intake
• If you smoke look to quit or at least cut down
• Making some time each week to relax and try to avoid stress.
